Dana Dowsett

Vice Principle

As Southeast Retail Group’s Vice President, Dana Dowsett serves as both a Landlord and Tenant Representative. Her Landlord portfolio has included prominent clients such as Regency Centers, Kimco Realty, Madison Marquette, and ACF Property Management. As a Tenant Representative, Dana has negotiated deals for Great Expressions Dental Centers, The Melting Pot, Amazing Lash Studio, Lady Jane’s Haircuts for Men, Allstate, Burn Boot Camp, and other nationally recognized brands.

In her role as Tenant Representative, Dana lays out territory development for multiple corporate and franchised units, navigates site selection and negotiates leases while maintaining high levels of communication with the client. Notable tenant rep achievements include opening Florida’s first Sirius Day Spa and Lady Jane’s Haircuts for Men; developing territory layout and new lease process for 24 Amazing Lash Studio units across Tampa Bay and Orlando markets; and managing renewals, relocations and new site procurement for Great Expressions Dental Centers throughout the State of Florida. When working as Leasing Representative for the Landlord, Dana utilizes her skills in performing market surveys, budget analysis, efficient canvassing and networking efforts, and effective lease negotiation.

During her 15 years in the commercial real estate industry, Dana has worked throughout the state of Florida, Alabama and The Caribbean. With experience not only in leasing, but also development, marketing, GIS and site research, Dana brings a varied skillset and perspective from all facets of the industry.

Active in professional volunteer opportunities, Dana currently holds a position on the planning committee for the ICSC Florida Conference and previously held positions on other committees and panels, including Chair of the ICSC West FL Conference, Florida Shopping Center Developer’s Political Action Committee, and Co-Facilitator of the ICSC Women in Real Estate Special Interest Group Panel. In 2013, Dana was chosen as one of fifteen to be awarded a John T. Riordan Professional Education Scholarship by the ICSC Foundation.
